You know that feeling? That feeling you get when you’re feeling just fine as wine. That feeling of a clean turn, a smooth landing, or a laced up rail. It’s all one. Different animal, same beast as Kobe B so wisely put it. I’ve heard you’re a damn good skier, so you must know that feeling well. Luckily, our good friends across the pond, Eppern and (most of) the dudes, have curated a brief visual expression of just how good it can feel to be good at skiing. If this crew seems familiar, it’s probably because you remember their masterpiece of a project “Legal Dancing“. If you have not watched this unbelievable expression of skiing and overall lifestyle creativity, don’t read one sentence further and go get your noodle blown away.
Now that you’ve indulged in some skiing beauty…. get ready for more! “Damn it feels good to be good at skiing” might not be the most glamorous edit, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t get the message across. With nothing but a handful of rails and a fairly flat hill, (all captured and set the best song in the known universe), this group of rail wizards will tantalize your eyes with their talents. Most importantly though, they illustrate, to a TEE, the importance of just relaxing and enjoying your time, no matter how limited your resources may be. It can be easy to get caught up in the competitive aspect of skiing, but at its core, it will always be a physical art that can bring people together in the best of ways. Shoutout to Tall T Dan and Arsenic, because it really is all about being anywhere with the right people. Hats off to Eppern and friends for reminding us of how much fun two planks and a couple rails can be.
