Despite the flooding of ski content that emerges this time of year, the great projects always find a way to shine through. “Excitey Threshold” from Suéde is a new frontier in ski films, and it’s no surprise that it stands above its counterparts. Is that a bit dramatic? Maybe. Is the movie really that good? Yes.
Featuring the skiing of Hugo Burvall, Oliver Karlberg, Siver Voll and Aleksi Patja, we find a surreal street skiing masterclass portrayed in a wildly captivating style. There are similarities to work we’ve seen from The Bunch, but Suéde is certainly a beast of their own. The whole project took many talented minds, with filming from Emil Larsson, editing from Björn Eklund, and muisc from Hugo Burvall. Words don’t do a flick like this justice. Hit that play button and we think you’ll agree.
