Ross Tester has been one of the most exciting faces of freeride skiing in recent times, and maybe ever. Honing his skis across Palisades Tahoe, Snowbird and Alta, Tester is the quintessential freeskier who looks as confident cruising the resort as he does tackling massive lines in the backcountry. His new project, “Here 4 Now,” is a testament to this versatility and calm demeanor as he finds comfort in being present.
This is easier said than done for anyone, nonetheless for a skier who has been accustomed to the hum of the competition lifestyle. Tester left his mark on the Freeride World Tour, but he clearly had some extra time last season to stack clips, and man are we happy that he did.
Split into two sections, “Here 4 Now” shows Boss Ross in his element and takes inside his thoughts before following him around on both hard-packed and deep days. And we better savor this edit, as Tester will be busier this winter as he makes his return to the FWT as a Wildcard!

When coming up with the idea for this project, I was unnecessarily tripping out about what to do with my winter. Here 4 now symbolizes embracing who you are as a person, where you are, and whatever conditions you are dealing with. Being here, for now, is a privilege in itself
