For the past couple of months, we’ve been releasing episodes from Whistler Blackcomb’s (WB) video series, The Big Picture. The series is aimed at discussing the most pressing topics in the ski scene: the first focused on climate change; the second on the overall participation; the third on the dangers of the backcountry.

The fourth and final episode is now here, and it’s a culmination of episodes one, two and three, highlighted by an in-depth interview with WB’s Chief Operating Officer, David Brownlie. As the man in charge of North America’s largest resort, he has a lot on his plate, and discusses that work load openly. Thoughts on climate change, participation and the backcountry are all addressed in a a no-frills manner. It’s an eye-opening piece of media for anyone involved with snowsports and a perfect way to end a powerful series from the biggest resort in North America.
