Watch Gus Kenworthy land first triple in X Games slopestyle history

Yesterday, Gus Kenworthy threw a switch triple rodeo 1440 off of the money booter during X Game slopestyle finals. In doing so, Gus became the first person to ever land a triple cork in an X Games slopestyle contest. Nick Goepper, who ended up atop the podium, would also go on to land triples during his second and third runs. In the end, Kenworthy wound up finishing fifth with a score of 87.00, and with triples now having been introduced into slopestyle runs, we’re sure to see more of them next month in Sochi.
