Karl Fostvedt has been dropping “Brap Ski” films for almost half a decade. In that time, he’s come up with some down-right wild ideas. Last year, the crew skied through the Southern Utah desert, painting silky turns and finding airs amongst the red rock walls. This year, they (somehow) stepped it up by returning to old stomping grounds and finding new spots, too. Along with Thayne Rich, Addie and Toby Rafford, McRae Williams and more, Fostvedt cooked up a few of the best segments we’ve seen so far this fall. And yes, that includes the “Karl and Thayne throw tricks through actual fire” segment.
“Brap Ski” films certainly get credit for the incredible skiing involved, but the projects also feature truly impeccable camera work. Principle cinematography in this film is credited to Jasper Newton, Axel Peterson and Olin Wimberg. These three clearly put in the time and work to get shots that are crystal clear and timed perfectly. From the riding to the camera work and everything in between, each component came together to create a wildly entertaining fourth installment of “Brap Ski.”
