The Wells Brothers Blend Style and Suspense in “The Underbelly”

Get ready, folks; it’s a heater! “The Underbelly” is a strange, enticing and wild ride of a ski edit. Blending black and white filming with outstanding sound design (shoutout to Brady Perron), unnerving music and unreal skiing gives a unique feel that is hard to come by. It’s certainly a suspenseful project, with features only gaining size as the film goes on. Aside from brothers Jackson and Beau-James Wells, the film features Ferdinand Dahl, Kai Mahler, Joona Kangas and Daniel Bacher. Talk about a stacked lineup.

There are shots peppered in from around Innsbruck, Austria, including the closing clip, which is one of the most absurd massive sevens we have ever seen. It’s enough to get you ready to tune in to the GMon Airline Sessions, which are approaching in a few weeks time. The new event, brought to you by Simon Geminiani and Nordkette Innsbruck, will be a ski and snowboard come one come all throw down, so don’t forget about it. For now, dim the lights and settle into “The Underbelly.”
