“The Filth”— An Australian Street Skiing Edit From Martin Longhitano

A little gumption goes a long way. The new street edit from Level 1 SuperUnknown finalist Martin Longhitano, aptly titled “The Filth,” is proof of exactly this. If you haven’t heard of Longhitano, remember the name. The Australian ripper is one of a kind. Personally, I’d never seen a street skiing edit from Australia. I’m sure they’re out there, considering all the rippers that call Perisher Parks home. But that being said, it’s not an everyday sighting.

Perhaps that’s what makes “The Filth” so awesome. The features are sweet, and the style is unreal, but the fact that he’s doing this over more grass and dirt than snow is truly astonishing. From down rails to wall rides to tail taps on snow guns, Longhitano is a damn menace on the sticks in the best way. Hopefully, he’ll head north this December and keep the edits coming.
