Simon Dumont’s influence on the sport of freeskiing, especially the inclusion of halfpipe and slopestyle in the Olympics, is undeniable. Network A has produced a video profiling Simon’s legacy in the sport of freeskiing, his attempt to qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics and subsequently dealing with the disappointment of injuring his ACL and being left off the squad. In the video Simon also talks about two burgeoning halfpipe stars, Aaron Blunck and Lyman Currier, as well as where his skiing career will go in the future. We look forward to seeing what Mr. Dumont has in store for us in the coming years, as his career takes on a whole new shape.
