Crested Butte local, Tom Runcie, took second place in last weekend’s Subaru Freeride Series competition at Crested Butte, Colorado. According to our own Damian Quigley, who was on hand to report on the event, Runcie “made his way down the skier’s left side of the venue with swift and smooth turns that led him off a huge air at the bottom.” Runcie earned the top score for the day (89.00) which combined with his previous run for a 166.33, earning him a second place finish.
