February in Utah provided warm temperatures and a lesser snowpack than seen in years past. However, Matt Philippi continued to get the goods in the Wasatch Range.
“While filming this edit, I climbed over 35,000 feet, the most I have ever hiked in a few short weeks,” says Philippi. “Getting know the Wasatch this season has been a huge learning experience and I am excited to put my turns on some more local classics as the season continues.”
Enjoy watching Matt P and his partner Harrison Brickman tackle the steep and deep, making a “shallow snowpack” look just fine.
