There is no doubt Coline Ballet-Baz is one of the most well-rounded skiers in the game right now. Originally a competitive park skier, Ballet-Baz has taken her effortless style both to the streets and to the backcountry steeps. This Jane-of-all-trades’ prowess was first put on full display in her first film, ‘SKIVAS,’ which also featured Taylor Lundquist, Marion Haerty, Juliette Willmann, Emma Darlstrom, Jennie Lee Burmanson, Rosina Friedle, Kim Lamarre, McKenna Brown and Margaux Hackett redefining the performance level of an all-female ski (and snowboard) film.
This year, Coline is back with another banger of a project titled ‘RECIPE.’ Featuring Michelle Parker, Taylor Lundquist, Manon Loschi, Sarah Hoefflin, Jennie-Lee Burmansson, Chloë Roux-Mollard, Juliette Willmann, Maggie Voisin, Olivia Asselin, Johanne Killi, Kirsti Muir, Margaux Hackett, Megan Oldham, Shiori Takahashi and Ballet-Baz herself, ‘RECIPE’ hits even harder than ‘SKIVAS.’ While the skiing, from the French Alps to the icy Salt Lake City streets, is incredibly impressive, it’s the stories of these women and what drives them that sets this documentary-style ski film apart. At just under 30 minutes, you’re going to want to pop some corn, kick up your feet and stream it on your too-big TV to immerse yourself in the experience that is ‘RECIPE.’
