Bobby Brown earned himself bragging rights and $7,500 for his bank account after taking home the win at the 2015 Dumont Cup at Sunday River. This year’s event marks the seventh annual Dumont Cup at the resort, located in Newry, Maine. The burly East Coast slopestyle setup, designed by none other than Simon Dumont himself, consisted of six rail features and three jumps. Brown stomped a very clean run in front of the New England crowd, consisting of multiple double corks and technical rail tricks, earning a score of 91.6.
Sick day @sundayriver for the 7th #dumontcup . Thanks to everyone that made it possible. @HEAD_SKI @TeamToyota @redbull

Up-and-comer Teal Harle (90.6, 2nd place) of Canada stayed close on Brown’s heals in the battle for the cup. Harle flaunted his skills throughout the week, qualifying for Saturday’s finals as an amateur competitor. Rounding out the podium was the United Kingdom’s own James Woods, posting a score of 87.4 and a bronze medal.
Of the seventy-four athletes competing throughout the week, Brown, Harle and Woods battled it out against nine other contestants in Saturday’s twelve-man main event.
Congratulations to all of the athletes, Mr. Dumont and of course Sunday River for yet another great event.
