Snowpark Zermatt, Switzerland is a summer freeski destination of the highest caliber. Sitting on the Plateau Rosa lies a sea of blue rails and undulating jumps at 10,800 feet above sea level. Staring up from the valley floor, you’d have no idea that high above, skiers gather to hone their skills during the warmest months of the year. They come from far and wide, but today we’re focusing on a collection of riders who know this park like it’s their backyard; the Swiss Freeski Team.
This talented group dropped their July 2024 recap edit, and the combination of smooth styles and tight filming is hard to beat. With themes reminiscent of the classic “Glacier Days” series, this is one of our favorite edits of this summer, featuring Mathilde Gremaud, Valentin Morel, Sarah Hoefflin, Colin Wili and many other notable names. Of course, we’d be remiss without mentioning cinematographer Marinho Ramon Meyer, who knocked it out of the park. (No pun intended.) Follow-cam filming is much harder than he makes it look! Take a trip to the Matterhorn and relax under blue skies and perfect grabs.
