Nikolai Schirmer, who describes himself as a “Norwegian filmmaker and law student skiing as fast as he can” on his Instagram page, just put out an especially sendy edit titled “Crashing Into Reality.” It was created with the help of Norwegian-based film production company CRUX Film and French pro skier Flo Bastien, and every single shot included is wildly entertaining. For three exhilarating minutes, Schirmer goes absolutely HAM at high speeds off cliffs, pillows and booters, conquering a variety of European slopes as if this is a full part in a full-length film.

Thank goodness we didn’t have to wait until September to see this gem. And, of course, thank goodness for Nikolai Schirmer and his madman approach to skiing. Admittedly, though, we kind of hope he never graduates from law school so we can see a lot more stuff like this.
