If you’ve been keeping up with skiing at all over the past 10 years, you’ve probably heard the name Sean Pettit. Since breaking onto the scene as a youngster, he’s taken his freestyle background deeper into backcountry, taking advantage the varied terrain around his Whistler, Canada home.
In Pettit’s 2016-17 season edit, above, you’ll find the stoke level is at an all time high for the 25-year-old skier. Carving through chest-deep Japanese powder, soaring corked-out tricks in British Columbia, riding pillow lines from top to bottom—it’s all here.
Shot by Jeremy Wallace-Maclean, Jerm Thornburg, Matt “Ski Chef” Cook, Gabe Langois and friends, the edit has a down to Earth feel, bringing the sometimes otherworldly skiing abilities of Pettit into nice perspective. Good times all around.
