On Movie Monday, FREESKIER brings you free movies from the wide world of skiing. With a mix of old and new, this is where you can find your weekly dose of freeski history, adrenaline and cinema mastery all in one.
Every fall, a few ski films from underrepresented crews break through the surface and stand out amongst heavy competition. Thanks to a mix of palpable passion, incredible skiing and creative cinematography, “STAND CORRECTED” was one of those projects in 2024. From the fine folks at Keep Standing, this street skiing short film blew us away. It’s only 15 minutes long, but every single shot in here earned its right. There is nothing that feels forced or unworthy.
Each feature is intimidating or creative in one way or another, and despite a large amount of carnage, these riders tackled everything they set their sights on. Featuring Daniel Hatheway, Chase Mohrman, Jackson Doremus, Sam Putnam, Matt Stackhouse, Max Gingras, Chris Bechtold, Sawyer Sellingham, Will Deschenes, Kamil Obaid and Andy Hoblitzelle, this team should absolutely be on your radar now if they weren’t before.
