Climb aboard and sail away… to Kimbo Sessions 2024. Try and think of a better destination, we’ll wait. The freeskiing mecca of Kläppen, Sweden once again hosted this storied gathering, as athletes from around the world came to ski this park that looks like it’s right from the mind of Dr. Seuss. From Henrik Harlaut to Parker White, you’ll see a plethora of styles and approaches in this video that are hard to find anywhere else. Sunset shoots, front flips, flaming knuckles, under flips, it’s all here.

These rolling hills, dotted with the occasional Oakley and Monster sign, incorporated a wild array of features for the ninth edition of Kimbo Sessions. There were several fins, hips and jumps laid out in a strategic way that allowed the riders to hit features from multiple directions. Needless to say, the cross-court action was in abundance and incentivized full creativity. Despite all the talent, there were still those who stood out from the crowd. The coveted Rider of the Week award was given to the man who needs no introduction, Mr. Mango, Jake Mageau.

Filmed by Andreas Olofsson & Björn Eklund, with post-production edits supplied solely by Eklund, this 17-minute finale is exactly the dreamy masterpiece you would expect. As surreal as the event itself, it makes for a fitting wrap-up to Kimbo Sessions 2024. Thank you to Kim Boberg, for continuing to foster freeskiing in its finest form. We’re already excited for the 10th Edition.
