Newly dug from the ground up, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is offering a huge expansion to their Bike Park. With four new trails accessed from the Sweetwater Gondola, JHMR now offers 1,276 feet of vertical so you can shred to your heart’s desire.
From novice trails to advanced single and jump tracks, riders navigate gentle curves, flow through corners and cruise over tabletops only to easily do it all again from speedy and convenient base lifts. Friday Night Bikes is back by popular demand. Look out for fun new events to highlight the expanded terrain.
FREESKIER spoke with a representative from JHMR who told us this bike park expansion was year’s in the making.
“Our trail crew worked extremely hard over the past two years planning, digging, and testing out the new trails from the Sweetwater Gondola. The trail crew worked closely with the National Forest Service to map out where the trails would flow before the digging even started,” says content marketing specialist John Bowman. “Once approved the hard work started and countless hours were put into digging the trails, building bridges, shaping jumps/berms and getting the trails ready for public riding.”
