Summer’s here, but we’ve got a little snow leftover! So we’re mixing things up. How about Hawaiian snow tubing? A Strider Cup balance bike showdown? A fresh rail set up and terrain park sessions under the sweet summer sun? Yep. It’s on! Plus your favorites, too – music, mountain biking, golf, hiking, scenic gondola rides.

Get up here to experience the best summer kickoff weekend ever! Starting on Friday May 27 we will be open for snow tubing, mountain biking, and a rail park. The kids will be entertained with a free Strider Cup Kids Race, free snow cones, and face painting! Don’t forget our daily Lift and Lunch packages plus the amazing BMX stunt show on Sunday! As always there is something for everyone here at Keystone.

DAILY Friday May 27 – Monday May 30

• Hawaiian Tubing Sessions, Adventure Point 10:30am – 2:30pm o $29 for a (1) hour session. For reservations please call 496- 4FUN (4386)

• Rail Park, Ranger Lift 10am– 2pm o Hit some sweet rails in our park just below the Ranger lift. $18 for pass holders/ $25 for non-pass holders (Editor's note: It is rumored that Keystone will have 20 features open.)

• Snow Cones, River Run Plaza 12pm – 2pm o Free and delicious treat for your ride up the gondola

• Kid’s Face Painting, River Run Plaza 11am – 2pm o Free for all the kids!

• Keystone Bike Park, Keystone Resort 10am – 5pm o Limited trails from mid-mountain down. $25 for an adventurous day on the mountain!

• Adventure Pack 10am – 5pm o $49 for Unlimited play on the activities below o Scenic Gondola Ride, Bungee Trampoline, Climbing Wall, Bounce House, Boat Rental at the Keystone
Lake *weather dependant o Plus (2) times at Gem Panning o Plus $15 Voucher for the Summit House BBQ

• Merchant Tent Sale all day!

Saturday 5/28 9:30 – 12pm Keystone Strider Cup: This one’s for the little tikes a race designed just for them. Come out to the River Run Village and enter your kids in the only Summit County Strider Cup event. Entry is free. Age categories 2yrs – 3yrs // 4yrs – 5 yrs girls and boys ride together. Prizes for top finishers. *Helmets required – everyone who enters the race will be entered into a drawing to win a Strider Bike!

9:00am – Registration in River Run Village

10:00 – 10:30am – 2yrs / 3 yrs PRACTICE

10:30am – 11:00am – 2yrs / 3 yrs RACE

11:00am – 11:30am – 4yrs / 5yrs PRACTICE

11:30am – 12:00pm – 4yrs / 5yrs RACE

12pm – 1pm Rocky Mountain Music – Original Environmental Music & Concerts for Kids featuring Jeff Kagan.

Sunday 5/29 10:00am – 12:00pm Yellow Designs BMX Stunt Show: You don’t want to miss these high flying daredevils as they flip and spin high in the air in the heart of the River Run Village

10am – Autograph signing and meet and greet with Yellow Designs BMX pros

11am – BMX Stunt Show – PRACTICE

11:30am – Yellow Designs BMX Stunt Show

12pm – 1pm Rocky Mountain Music – Original Environmental Music & Concerts for Kids Jeff Kagan has been entertaining and educating children and parents with his original, environmental music for nearly a decade. Kagan now makes his home and his music in Boulder, CO. Kagan’s music has been described as “a cross between: (1) John Denver – Almost Heaven, Rocky Mountain High, nature loving, feel-good, joyful music, (2) Dan Zanes – totally hip, fun, down-home, family music, hangin’ out and singin’ with the peeps, and (3) The Wiggles – silly, creative, super engaging for kids, wildly popular, and, well, wiggly!” – Cate Boulder, CO mother of two
