“Let’s go, baby,” says Kennison in response to a question about joining the Stio family. Stio, the Jackson, Wyoming, activewear brand known for its promotion of getting outside and connecting with nature, is lucky to snag such a big name in skiing and snowboarding. Kennison’s latest film by Level 1 production company, “Full Circle,” which was recently released on Netflix, has garnered a ton of attention from folks in and out of the industry. Why? Because Kennison’s story transcends mountain sports—it’s one of overcoming hardship without losing positivity.

Kennison was paralyzed from the waist down after a snowboarding accident in the Colorado backcountry. He emerged back on the scene as the first sit skier to huck it off Corbet’s Couloir, earning himself the Rider’s Choice Award at the famed Kings and Queens competition in Jackson Hole. Since then, he hasn’t hit the breaks. He’s landing double backflips and paving the way for sit-skiers, especially in the park.

“Trevor is an amazing spirit. His energy and passion for the mountains and life in general are inspiring and infectious,” said Liz Barrett, brand director at Stio. “We’re excited to support Trevor in pushing the boundaries within adaptive skiing and further solidify his connection with the Tetons through our partnership.”

As a part of the partnership, Kennison joins a group of athletes, adventures, mountain guides and creatives who will promote the brand’s mission to inspire connection with nature. This means more video projects, product testing and feedback through development stages from Kennison. Is it too soon to say we’re gearing up for one hell of a winter season? Only six months until flakes start flying again!
