Adriá Millan Pla Cashes Out the $20k Grand Prize From GoPro’s Line of the Winter Contest

GoPro’s Line of the Winter contest has officially come to an end awarding the grand prize to Adriá Millan for his spicy submission back in January. Ultimately, the judges (and GoPro athletes) Kai Jones, Hedwig Wessel, Tom Wallisch, Sage Kotsenburg, and Jamie Anderson made the final call on Adrià’s win which took the cake over Daiek and Colby’s submissions from March and April.

Revisit Adrià’s victorious lap in the clip below to witness the glory for yourself. On top of the $20k Adrià has already been awarded for his combined January and February submission wins, Adrià is taking home the ultimate grand prize of $20k leaving him $40k richer than he was last season.

Kudos to GoPro for putting together such a creative contest and a huge shout out to all that participated. As we roll into the offseason in North America, it’s a great time to review your season through the lens and brush up on all the features that GoPro has to offer when filming in the elements. Who knows — maybe you’ll be the one walking out of the season with deep pockets next go around. Roll camera!

January 2024

Adrià Millan Pla sent in an insane clip of him on the edge of a cornice in the Andes. Strapped into a pair of K2 Mindbender 108s, Millan Pla shimmied through a chute, earning himself a solid $10K from GoPro in January, followed by $20k as the ultimate video submission winner.

February 2024

For two months running this winter, Adrià Millan Pla was your Line of the Winter champ. This wild Argentinian backcountry line earned him the second skier slot and a bag of cash from GoPro. He plows down an insane line with stunning views the whole way down. This year’s judges picked Adrià Millan Pla as the February winner out of hundreds of submissions based on athletic performance, video quality and overall wow factor.

March 2024

When March rolled around, Josh Daiek took home the $10K with a classic fast and fluid line, complete with the backflip for good measure. Here, we see him in the remote Sierra backcountry, flying down the snow-covered hills above barren plains of brown. It’s one hell of a sight and well deserving of the title.
