We’re testing our hearts (and lungs… and legs) out this week in Clear Creek County, Colorado, jumping on the cream of the crop of next year’s backcountry skis from a host of top-notch manufacturers. And the conditions could not be better. We’re incredibly excited to show you all the in-depth rankings, reviews and feedback from our trusted testers in our 2019 Buyer’s Guide, coming this fall. For now, though, we’re providing a sneak peek at the skis that we’ve been utilizing to scamper up and down Colorado’s Front Range this week. Below, you’ll see the collection of badass backcountry planks built by some of our favorite ski companies, set to hit shop shelves in a few short months.
