The eccentric French ski brand blackcrows has released their latest creation combining artistic creativity and technical prowess. The new Powder Hunter Limited Edition collection features a freshly wrapped Nocta ski, Oxus poles and Dorsa 22-liter backpack, designed to blend in with the environment on the deepest of winter days.
The Nocta ski is blackcrows powder plank of choice, measuring 122 mm underfoot. It’s a softer ski with a progressive shape that lends itself to easy turn initiation. The core is made of a blend of paulownia and poplar woods with fiberglass, creating a ski that feels soft and smooth with plenty of pop. The softer core is coupled with ABS sidewalls and a straight sidecut with minor camber underfoot. This combination delivers relative stability at speeds with playfulness in the pow. The Nocta is a great option for the more advanced rider seeking a resort or backcountry ski specifically for soft snow.
