Coming to market for 2025/26, the Atomic Remedy 130 ski boot is a high-end model designed for competitive freeskiers and ultra aggressive all-mountain rippers. Drawing inspiration from Atomic’s famed Redster World Cup boots, the Remedy 130 combines race-level precision with features tailored for big mountain exploits.

Construction

The boot’s shell is crafted to offer a balanced flex, ensuring responsiveness without compromising comfort. At the core of the Remedy 130 is a burly plastic bridge between the toe and heel lugs. This structure enhances torsional stability by over 30%, providing improved grip and control, especially when you’re flat out hauling ass. Additionally, the inclusion of GripWalk soles enhance traction when hiking.

Like most of the Remedy 130, the liner is very similar to Atomic’s World Cup boots. The full-lace design provides superior heel hold and a snug fit around the ankle. Thermo-formed ankle foam allows for customization and added cushioning, while the elastic cuff and tongue linings facilitate easier entry and exit. An adjustable tongue, which can be moved around via its Velcro attachment, enables skiers to further fine-tune the fit.

Performance Features

One of the top standout features of the Remedy is the ShockStopper vibration-damping boot board. This key component reduces chatter and absorbs impacts, providing a smoother ride in crud, crust and refrozen mank. The boot also comes equipped with a 55 mm wide power strap that allows skiers to adjust the balance between elasticity and rigidity, ensuring optimal power transmission and control.

Recognizing the importance of personalized fit, Atomic has incorporated several adjustable features into the Remedy 130. The cuff alignment hardware offers a range of 4° (2° laterally and 2° medially), allowing you to fine-tune the stance. The spine enables modification of the forward lean between 16° and 18°. When a second bolt is added to the spine it locks in the forward lean and cuff alignment settings, so you have a super responsive feel.

The Atomic Remedy 130 does a great job bringing off-the-course features to a race-level boot. Its beefy design, combined with customizable technology, makes it a compelling choice for skiers who demand precision and adaptability in their gear. Whether charging down AK faces or lining up doubles on the Bec de Rosses, the Remedy 130 is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of today’s top freeriders.
