FREESKIER’s 2014 Photo Annual exhibition raises over $5K for the Sarah Burke Foundation

FREESKIER’s 2014 Photo Annual exhibition raises over $5K for the Sarah Burke Foundation

Amid the 2014 SIA Snow Show in Denver, CO, FREESKIER hosted its second annual photo exhibit to benefit the Sarah Burke Foundation. Industry folk, professional skiers, friends and family alike flocked to the ArtHaus on Larimer Street to honor Sarah’s legacy.

The event showcased a multitude of finely printed and matted photos, a selection from the sixteenth volume of FREESKIER. Participants were able to bid upon the imagery, as well as purchase a package including a poster of Sarah along with a commemorative Phunkshun Wear facemask, with all proceeds from the evening benefiting the Sarah Burke Foundation.

Today, September 3—on what would have been Sarah’s 32nd birthday—we are proud to announce that we’ve presented a check in the amount of $5,489.89 to the Sarah Burke Foundation. The funds will continue to support the group’s mission to embody Sarah’s generosity and vibrant spirit.

Once again, we’d like to thank all of those who participated, including the photographers who were gracious to share their work. For more information about the Sarah Burke Foundation, visit sarahburkefoundation.com
