Depending on where you are in the northern hemisphere, winter may well be on your doorstep! However, we still have a ways to go before we reach a true milestone of any ski season: the kick-off of the Freeride World Tour. Recent announcements detailing the official 2025 FWT roster and calendar had us brimming with excitement and hardly able to sit still.
Winter 2025 is looking like one of the best years we’ve ever seen on the Tour in terms of roster depth and talent in both the men’s and women’s ski fields, and that’s saying something. On the women’s side, there are four returning riders, along with four rookies who have qualified. Plus, there will be four Wildcards joining the Tour this year, all of whom are familiar faces. The Men’s Ski field is covered with familiar faces as well as seven rookie riders who we can’t wait to watch. There will be four electric Wildcard skiers competing as well, with names that you will almost certainly recognize.
It can be tough to just stand by and wait patiently for the excitement. But fear not, there is a solution. As you start spinning hot laps of your own, be sure to check out these top lines from the 2024 FWT. You’ll probably be as excited to ski as ever, but we don’t see any harm in that.
