Get your jacket out of storage, slap some wax on your skis and mentally prepare for winter. Fall’s days are numbered.

In Brian Head, Utah, the snow machines are at full force, in anticipation of the 23/24 season opening date of November 10. Brian Head sits at the highest base elevation in Utah at 9,600 feet. During the off-season, the resort put $1 million into capital improvements, including upgrades to open early and extend the season in the spring.

Since temperatures dropped this past weekend, Brian Head took advantage of the cold and aimed its snow guns at Paradise Run on Navajo Mountain. Want in on some early bird deals? Daily lift tickets start as low as $29, and kids 12 and under ski free all season.
