MSP Films premiered Fade to Winter last weekend in Denver, CO. The evening capped off what had already been an exciting 48 hours for a lucky few individuals who are close with the MSP squad. Wrapping up a full-length feature ski film is no easy task and is most definitely cause for celebration. To that end, the crew headed down to the Gateway Canyons Resort in western Colorado to blow off some steam and a few members of the FREESKIER team joined in on the fun.

Arriving on Thursday night, the MSP, Under Armour and Freeskier crews enjoyed a casual dinner along with James Heim and Tanner Rainville, then rested up for a big day on Friday. The following morning started off with the resort’s “Art of the Weapon” program in which attendees progressed from firing early military weapons right up through today’s power tools such as the AR-15 and Scar .223.

After a poolside lunch it was time to head out to the race track. A quick ride down the canyon got us to the home of Driven Experiences, a one-of-a-kind operation that put puts you inside one of the most badass machines you can possibly imagine: a 900 horsepower trophy truck. Driven Experiences offers a ride-along option as well as half day and full day driving courses that will blow your mind.

With limited time on our hands the crew opted for the ride-along program which seats you shotgun while experienced pro racers rip around the track at mind-numbing speeds, catching some serious air and spewing dirt in every direction. For those of you that enjoy an adrenaline rush, this is an absolute must for your bucket list.

When all was said and done at the track, it was back to the pool for a quick happy hour before getting a private tour of Gateway Canyons’ impressive auto collection. The museum, located on the resort grounds, holds a $60 million car collection that would impress even Jay Leno. Dating back to the early 1900s, each car in the collection helps tell the story of how the modern car evolved and even includes the one-of-a-kind Oldsmobile F-88, a concept car that was bought at auction for an astounding $3 million. The tour capped off a truly enjoyable experience and was a great way to wind down from an adrenaline-filled day.

Hell of a ride out at #drivinexp today. Thank you @msp_films @ua_action #Hitcase
