We’ve seen several recaps from Mt. Hood this summer. Each features a unique feel that encapsulates the vision of both the filmmaker and featured skiers. However, “wishyoustayed,” the latest edit from Capeesh, delivers something different in the best possible way. To call this an edit feels like a misnomer, though. When you consider the editing, color, video transitions, level of skiing and the overall professional quality of the project, it’s more like a short film. This shouldn’t come as a surprise when you consider that the person behind the lens is non other than Ecook.
Here we get a creative look at the summer endeavors of Ferdinand Dahl, Daniel Bacher, Olivia Asselin, Kai Martin and Jackson Jenkins as the crew enjoys Mt. Hood and the surrounding offerings in the great state of Oregon, including waterfalls, cameos from Jake Dubé and Andy Parry, birthday parties and more. Plus, it looks like Ferdi may have found his skis of choice.
