Utah’s backcountry has kept skiers frothing for decades. Back to the origins of freestyle, the state has been a mecca of all things skiing as it offers some of the best powder conditions in North America, is strewn with spots to build a backcountry booters and most access is within just an hour’s drive of Salt Lake City.
