Powder hounds, park rats and all-around ski enthusiasts, rejoice. Canvas, a 40-minute ski film created by the Blank Collective has been released online for free via Salomon TV, and it’s amazing.
Featuring Alexi Godbout, Stan Rey, JF Houle, Josh Daiek, Vincent Gagnier, Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, Dean Bercovich, Dana Flahr and the late Maxim Arsenault (to whom the project is dedicated), this movie follows the skiers across the world as they explore the full-spectrum of their sport. There is no shortage of adrenaline-pumping moments, with equally impressive backcountry, park and urban segments. Tying into the movie’s title, the snow provides these athletes a Canvas to create on, and the finished product is a masterpiece. From big-mountain to the park, from powder to rails, these guys shred it all, and shred it all well.
