Along with fellow Maine resort Sunday River, Sugarloaf Mountain was also able to fire up its snowguns last night. The temperatures in Carrabassett Valley dropped to 18 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing the resort to flip the switch on the snowguns. It’s only September, but get that equipment ready, because winter is coming.
