At Liberty, the ski manufacturer’s location in the heart of the Colorado Rockies informs everything they do. Their commitment to crafting award-winning skis and doing business the right way means that every member of the Liberty team sweats the little stuff. The Avon, CO-based crew tests and refines their skis right in their own backyard, dials in the construction, wraps them in beautiful graphics and makes sure they are available at the finest ski retailers.

Mountains can be unforgiving places, but Liberty makes them their home because with the right focus, they are the most rewarding and inspiring. Every decision and detail is amplified in the high alpine environment—and the team at Liberty mimmic this in their detail-oriented approach to ski construction.

Heading into the 2018/19 season, Liberty is offering five new models of skis: the Origin 112, Helix 98 and the V-Series, which you’ll learn more about below. If that’s not enough, take a peek at all of Liberty’s inventory and learn more about the Colorado-based brand by clicking here.

Origin 112

The all-new Origin 112 features a refined camber/rocker profile in a new waist width. A solid bamboo, poplar and carbon core works perfectly with the new geometry to ensure the fun never stops, even if the snow does. Surfy enough for the big days, but quick and stable for the days in between, the Origin 112 will elevate your game—no matter the mountain, no matter the conditions.

Helix 98

The Helix is back! Now in a more versatile 98mm waist, but retaining the do-anything DNA of its award-winning predecessor, the brand-new Helix 98 is a one-ski wrecking machine. Versatile, energetic and stable, the Helix 98 features easy turn initiation and floatation with control from Liberty’s signature bamboo and poplar core. Crush the entire mountain, including the terrain park, with performance and a grin.

VMT: Vertical Metal Technology

Available in 76, 82 and 92mm (seen above) waist widths, the new all-terrain V-Series is designed with Liberty’s groundbreaking VMT Technology. Using vertical alloy struts sandwiched between bamboo, the V-Series is able to maintain dampness and power without the weight of traditional horizontal metal. A full carbon layup from tip to tail adds even greater precision and energy return, while spring steel mounting plates underfoot maintain resilient flex and steering accuracy. Designed for smooth and accurate carving, the V-series is built for demanding front-side skiers.
