Team FREESKIER is hitting the road again to celebrate the start of ski season. We’re teaming up with the best filmmakers in the industry to show you the latest and greatest movies followed by after parties that go late into the night. Last night in Bozeman, Montana, the FREESKIER crew teamed up with Level 1 Productions to bring the local community a screening of Zig Zag that they won’t soon forget. Showing the movie at the Emerson Center for the Arts was only the beginning, as the masses relocated to local watering hole, the Molly Brown Bar to let the good times roll.
The evening’s festivities began around 7PM as Team FREESKIER parked our customized RV right smack in front of the theater and invited moviegoers onboard for free pizza and refreshments. Thanks to Cosmic Pizza, a local favorite, everyone was able to fill up on ‘za before the show.
Just inside the theater, athletes Parker White, Sean Logan and Ethan Swadburg signed autographs as the crowd filed into the beautiful arts center and, prior to the movie screening, Level 1 filmmaker Freedle Coty took to the stage to introduce the company’s 21st annual feature-length ski film. Gear giveaways from Fischer, Line, Scott, Wells Lamont and more got folks all kinds of excited while Parker White’s impromptu, mullet-style haircuts to two lucky audience members amplified the room’s stoke level through the roof.
Immediately following the screening, everyone relocated to the nearby Molly Brown Bar, a hotspot for Montana State University students and townies, alike. DJ Dre Day brought the beats and had the dance floor movin’ and groovin’ until late into the night. This time, the FREESKIER crew got onstage to toss out free swag from Yeti, Kari Traa, Goldwin, Vuarnet, Icelantic and Ski Town All-Stars.
