Hot off its 10th anniversary season (2015-16), Salt Lake City-based DPS Skis is a brand that we get behind here at FREESKIER. Its high-performance skis repeatedly earn Editors’ Pick distinction in our annual Buyer’s Guide—the ultimate stamp of approval from our staff and ski testers who’ve skied just about every brand under the sun. Beyond producing top-notch boards, DPS has worked hard to foster an active community of die-hard fans; these supporters appreciate the fine craftsmanship of skis in addition to DPS’ support of environmental initiatives and multimedia projects. Hello, DPS Cinematic! (See below.)
As part of DPS’ commitment to offering skiers the best products at the best prices, the brand is currently hosting the highly-anticipated Dreamtime event, a two-week sale that’s almost over in which skis are offered at mega-discounted rates. With ski season just around the corner, it certainly ain’t too soon to get your ducks in a row as pertaining to your perfect quiver.
The Dreamtime event only runs until August 1, and it’s the sole time of the year discounts like this are offered. So, if you think you’ll find a better deal later on, consider this an official bubble burst. When it comes to buying great ski gear at the right time, it doesn’t get much better than this, folks. Without further ado, check out some of the many boards that are marked down, below. (We’re particularly psyched about the two 106-mm models found directly below.)
The Special Editions
The Special Edition series includes three models: The Wailer 106, Wailer 112RP 2 and Zelda 106. These are more versatile, all-mountain boards that have beautiful, limited-run graphics.
The Powderworks Division
The Powderworks Division includes two models: The Tour1 Lotus 124 and the Wailer 112 RPC 2.0. Both of these are hard-charging powder boards that we’re incredibly fond of, and these ones in particular are limited-run shapes.
To get your hands on a pair of these planks, head to DPSskis.com or swing by a DPS dealer near you before it’s too late.
And, in the meantime, check out one of our favorite videos from DPS Cinematic. This is pretty much mouthwatering.
