Slap 104 Lite
ZAG Skis
$899.00
The Slap 104 Lite is built for intermediate and advanced skiers looking to explore deep into the backcountry, enjoying natural features and surfing in fresh pow at every chance. Bred in the rugged peaks of Chamonix, France, its core features poplar, paulownia, flax and rubber. This combination provides excellent touring capabilities while enabling seamless and playful downhill performance.
The specific woods used in the construction make the ski very lightweight, while the flax and rubber are added to make the ride smooth as butter. The clever blend of materials is coupled with a versatile waist width and ample tip and tail rocker for elegant movement, quick tail release and supreme slashability.
“The Slap 104 Lite weighs about the same as my Oslo poles,” noted one tester. “It felt like I had a feather on my foot while skiing through untouched powder. However, as soon as you start carving, the ski lays over really well, and you get zero chatter.” The Slap Lite 104 is a beautiful example of how a twin-tipped touring ski should behave, including the convenience of their specific tail hook system for fastening skins.
If skiing in fresh snow and jibbing off natural features is your jam, the Slap 104 Lite is your knife for schmearing all over the mountain. In addition to performance, Zag is committed to protecting the environment using bio-sourced resin, recycled edges and cotton shipping bags.
