Rossignol

$800.00

Ski Lengths: 156, 164, 172, 180, 188 cm

Ski Dimensions: 135 - 102 - 125 mm

The brand-new Sender Soul 102 has arrived, in all its glory. The mad scientists at Rossignol brought in elements from both the retired Soul and current Sender series to create a ski that rips, plain and simple. That was the consensus from our testers after taking it from Vail Mountain’s frontside groomers to the leftover pow of the back bowls. A 102-mm underfoot, semi-twin shape is the Goldilocks zone for the aggressive freeride-oriented skier searching for their daily driver.
You’ll find Rossignol’s Air Tip at the front of the ski. The honeycomb design creates a lighter-feeling tip and a beautiful balance in the ski that mitigates swing weight and delivers an easy-driving turn in deeper snow. Underfoot, you’ll find what Rossignol calls Line Control Technology (LCT): a metal rail, sandwiched by two rubber sheets, that runs vertically through the ski’s core for better control and stability without the weight of a full Titanal sheet. A bit of a flatter tail, compared to the Sender Free 110, lends more stability and confidence to the ski when laying down a carve.
“Rossignol did the universe an absolute favor by creating this beauty,” said our tester. “I had enough stability and edge control to confidently rip fast, firm snow in the morning, yet it’s a wide and playful enough ski to have fun in the freshies.”
This ski thrives on versatility as it is able to conquer in any conditions you throw at it. The ideal combination of a light swing weight and stability through the center of the ski make it an incredible offering for those who are looking for a predictable and nimble all-mountain ski.
