Rallybird Soul 102
Rossignol

We know humans can’t fly but if there were a ski we’d use to try, it would have to be the new Rallybird Soul 102 from Rossignol. A new version of the brand’s former Rallybird series, the Rallybird Soul is more agile and versatile than its predecessor. Rossignol’s Air Tip reduces swing weight, making the ski feel more maneuverable and nimble, while maintaining its strong and stout qualities underfoot. Proprietary vibration-damping technology, paired with a lightweight paulownia wood core, makes for seamless transitions when bashing through crud, popping off moguls and ripping across corduroy.
At 102-mm underfoot, it may seem too narrow to handle West Coast depths, but a 135-mm tip and 125-mm tail, with a twin rocker profile, keep you on top of the fresh and give you the ability to slash and play in the deep. Conversely, Rossignol’s Line Control Technology (LCT), which is also used in the brand’s race skis, places a power rail in the center of the Rallybird Soul’s wood core to eliminate counter-flexing while pressuring the ski, for a smoother and more precise carve.
“This ski is your trusty sidekick! It’ll follow wherever the snow gods lead, ready to tackle any terrain with style and ease,” wrote our tester. “Whether you’re gliding through trees, sending it off cliffs or cruising down the groomers, the Rallybird Soul 102 has your back.”
Designed with expert freeriders in mind, the Rallybird Soul 102 is made to match the confidence of the rider and refuses to buck no matter how rowdy the ride gets. From first chair to last, powder day to fast and firm groomers, extend your ski’s range with the Rallybird Soul 102.
