Oblivion 102

The Oblivion line has been completely reborn for the 2024-25 ski season—a collaborative effort from Head’s top designers, engineers and athletes. Professional skier Cole Richardson’s fingerprints are all over this design, as well as his 116 Oblivion Pro Model.
The Oblivion 102 instantly became a favorite of our testers for its ease-of-use and stability at high speed. The ski features a wood core, carbon sandwich twin-tip construction with recycled PET stringers and TNT Rocker. Giving skiers the best of all worlds, it’s quite stout but also playful thanks to the reverse camber in the tip and tail.
“It’s a very user-friendly ski and a great all-mountain weapon for today’s freeride skier,” said one tester. “It loves to go fast and also handled pow and mixed conditions quite well for a ski of its size.”
Carbon layers throughout the Oblivion 102 improve stability and rebound for a more engaging feel and an especially smooth ride for a rockered ski. This is also thanks, in part, to its Independent Suspension System which adds elastomeric vibration-killers underfoot, as well as in the tip and tail.
“I was impressed with how stable the skis were, torsionally, for being longitudinally softer than what I usually reach for,” said another tester.
