Mextures is new hottness for iOS camera apps
Do you prefer Snapseed? Maybe you’re into Camera+? Whichever app you use, the bottom line is this: everyone wants their iPhone photos to look good. The latest app to help you achieve this end? It’s called Mextures ($1).
Like many camera apps, Mextures includes a library of textures, from gradients to grunge, to light filters and film scans. Where Mextures stands apart, however, is that the app allows you to combine different textures using separate layers (kind of like Photoshop). Using blending and opacity tools, you can achieve a look all your own. And once you find a style you dig, you can save your combination as a formula to reuse time and again.
So if you’re heading to the glacier this summer, and plan to post countless Instabangers with the intention of instilling jealousy among your friends who are toughing it out back home, you may consider spicing up your shots via Mextures.
