LOOK Bindings & Pit Viper team up to host ‘The International Pro Skier Tryouts’. High stakes, high dins, high rewards

There’s more competitions in skiing these days than the sport has ever seen in its short life. Professional skiing as we know it today has been around far less that an average lifetime, and its rapid change and exponential progression can make it hard to keep up with. World Cups, X Games, Dew Tour, the Freeride World Tour; the list goes on and on. But the competitions can’t function on their own. They need the sponsors, and the fans, to stay alive. Brands will pour their heart and souls into funding these events, and making sure that their athletes are ready to rumble in the best gear there is. But at the end of the day, what are we really competing for? With so many different disciplines and awards, how do we know who the best really is? Well friends, we just might have an answer to this age old question. Let’s find out who we have to thank.

Preparing for launch

Skiing is, and always will be, a game of passion, a game of love, a game of greatness. Many may have forgotten this, but don’t worry, it’s clear that there are still a few renegades out there who haven’t forgotten where skiings heart lies. LOOK Bindings and the infamous Pit Viper Sunglasses had the guts to do what needed to be done, and put on the only competition you’ll ever care about again; ‘The International Pro Skier Tryouts’. The two companies have come together, uniting their powers like the legendary Magazord, to jump start skiing once again. While all of those aforementioned comps have their own merit, they pale in comparison to what you’re about to witness. The tip top of the worlds skiers assembled in Snowbird, Utah, to slice the pie and duel it out for the top spot, and be awarded the honor that comes with title of Pro Skier.

No rules, only style. May the best skier win

Our beloved Pivot hero’s, Gold (Giray Dadali), Forza (Spencer Harkins), Turbo (Jen Picarazzi), and Raw (Rachael Burks), are here to take on the world champion Sander Badley and his crew of rough riders. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you might feel emotions you haven’t tapped in to since you first watched the Twilight series, and all of that is not just okay, it’s encouraged. Hell, you might even feel the sudden urge get a little bit cooler and buy yourself a pair of LOOK Pivot bindings or Pit Viper shades. As long as you leave feeling inspired, and ready to perform at your best, then that’s what matters.

Just like The Avengers, but better
