For those of you that have not yet heard, we’re sorry to deliver some devastating news re: Jon Olsson’s car collection. Last night, Olsson’s (recently sold) Audi RS6 Avant (#RS6DTM) was stolen in an armed robbery in the Netherlands. Hours after the theft, it was discovered that the 1000-horsepower vehicle had been burned to the ground.
Upon hearing the news, Olsson posted an Instagram photo warning all of his followers to keep an eye out for the car.
However, it was too late. As it turns out, whomever stole the vehicle either decided to get rid of the evidence and torch the vehicle, or they blew up the engine and left the car to rot. According to Olsson’s blog, nobody was harmed in the incident.

Lucky for Jon, he actually sold the vehicle earlier this year. However, he does have some incredible memories behind the wheel and under the hood. “Feels so sad to see the pictures of the car I spent a million hours imagining and building being completely destroyed!” writes Olsson via Jon-Olsson.com. “Kind of hard to believe…”
