K2 Skis has officially signed the one and only Pep Fujas to a new three-year contract. Coming off of his hot role in Sweetgrass Productions epic short film Afterglow, Fujas is skiing as well as ever before with his signature smooth and incredibly strong style.
“Working with K2 for the past 13 years has positively shaped my skiing,” said Fujas. “No matter what part of the world I’m in, I can always depend on my K2s to help me push my abilities in any terrain.”
Fujas plans to spend the majority of this season shredding and filming with Nimbus Independent. Surely, the crew will once again produce pure gold for all of us to enjoy. Congratulations to Pep and K2 on their “new” partnership.

Seattle, Washington — K2 Skis is proud to announce a new three-year contract with world-renowned skier Pep Fujas. Well-known for his smooth style and effortless on-snow creativity, Fujas will lend his vision to direct K2’s new athlete-inspired freestyle skis.
“We are ecstatic to have Pep continuing with the program. He is a gifted athlete who epitomizes what K2 is all about,” said K2 Team Manager Zach Doleac. “I have no doubt that he will excel in his new role, driving freestyle product development.”
Fujas, who recently played a starring role in Sweetgrass Productions’ critically acclaimed short film Afterglow, plans to spend this season working with his longtime friends at Nimbus Independent. The first part of his winter has taken him to the notoriously deep powder of Japan where he’ll explore new terrain as well as revisit a couple favorite snowy areas. While Pep is traveling and filming during the season, he will be working directly with product developers and fellow Factory Team athletes testing prototypes for K2’s all-new freestyle ski collection.
Designing and testing freestyle skis is familiar territory for Pep; he was directly involved with the creation of the Fujative and Kung Fujas pro-models that bear his name. He’ll continue to have the opportunity to drive innovation by playing a key role in the development of an entirely new collection of athlete-inspired skis. Wasting no time, Pep has been a part of several development meetings where he gave valuable feedback from early season prototype testing. Besides leading the development of K2’s skis, Pep will also lend feedback to further strengthen K2’s All-Mountain SpYne and Pinnacle Freeride boot lines.
