Since 2013, the Sarah Burke Foundation has been providing financial support for “up and coming” winter sports athletes. This year, the foundation—named in the honor of the late Sarah Burke—is offering two $7,500 scholarships to rising athletes with financial need. Applicants for the “Up and Coming Scholarship Award” must be eighteen years old or younger, involved in winter sports, contribute to their community and provide three references upon applying.

If you know a young, passionate athlete who fits this criteria, have them download this form and apply now. The application deadline is Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Once you finish the package, submit your completed application to [email protected].

Applications are due on or before Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Decisions will be made the Sarah Burke Foundation Board of Directors, as well as an athletic scholarship committee. Two $7,500 scholarships will be awarded. All decisions by the board and committee are final. Winners will be notified by Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
