As the wildly successful winter music festival, WinterWonderGrass, headed into its seventh year of below-freezing boogieing, the festival made its east-coast debut at Stratton Mountain, Vermont, in December, 2018. The insane turnout and stellar response from east-coasters has made it an official stop for the 2020 season–with stops in Steamboat, Colorado and Tahoe, California as well–but to keep that side of the country groovin’ in 2019, and to say thank you for 2018, WinterWonderGrass will be hosting a free, two-day concert at Stratton Mountain Resort on April 13 and 14, 2019.

Dubbed Sugar and Strings 2019, this two-day mountain-base concert is free for all ages and the perfect way to après after a beautiful day of spring skiing at one of Vermont’s most iconic ski resorts. Starting at 3 p.m., local time, both Saturday and Sunday, performances by Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Kitchen Dwellers, Twister Pine, Beg Steal or Borrow, William Seeders Mosheim, False Hearts and special guest, Pappy of Cabinet, will rock out at the base of the resort to celebrate music, skiing and community as the sun sets over the Green Mountain State.
