Gear Spotlight: YETI Lowlands Blanket & Stackable Ramblers

Here at FREESKIER, we have a serious gear problem. Everything and anything—we want to put it to the test. All season long, we’ve been trying a slew of new products, including luggage, travel accessories and an assortment of next year’s best skis. Through it all, YETI—you know, the makers of those coolers everyone wants—continues to impress us with its wide range of outdoor gear. Here, we take a closer look at two of our favorites, including the all-new Lowlands Blanket and Rambler 16 oz Stackable Pints.

Lowlands Blanket

Through the entire winter season, there’s one thing that hasn’t left my trunk: YETI’s Lowland Blanket. With a fully waterproof utility layer on one side and a softer, insulated layer on the flip side, this blanket is more than just that; the Lowland can be used to stay warm on cold nights as well as for tailgating, concert-going and and ensuring my friends’ pups have a comfortable place to lie down on a ride into the mountains.

Designed to repel dirt, grime, pet hair, water and anything else that you might encounter during four season in the mountains, the Lowland is easily machine washable, too. So, go ahead, throw it on the ground and make the parking lot at your local ski hill feel like a padded living room carpet while you’re changing out of those ski boots. You deserve it.

Rambler 16 oz Stackable Pints

For cold mornings and hot coffee or sunny, springtime afternoons and cold beer, the YETI Rambler 16 oz Stackable Pints are about to be your next “never leave the house without ’em” item. Available in packs of two, these insulated, essentially bomb-proof pint glasses easily stack into one another for easy, compact storage. Even better: they fit into your car’s cupholder, unlike most other bulky, thermos-style mugs. Keep your bevvies the right temperature all day long—and do it in style—with these pint glasses from YETI.
