Here’s the bottom line: You need to see Faction’s latest feature-length movie in theaters. FREESKIER got a sneak peek of the film before its launch, but there’s something special about witnessing a ski movie premiere in a theater full of other skiers and riders who are just as passionate as you. This past Thursday at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado, the Faction crew brought its new movie in front of a hometown crowd and wowed everyone in the audience.
From the pre-screening dance-off to the drink specials provided by Red Bull and Pabst Blue Ribbon, there was a noticeable buzz in the air before the lights dimmed and the movie started playing. Athlete appearances by Freeride World Tour “Rookie of the Year,” Andrew Pollard and local Faction team riders Cody Cirillo, Corey Jackson and Will Berman only added to the atmosphere.
As for the movie—well, you’re going to have to see it for yourself. Faction is currently on a multi-stop whirlwind tour across North America and Europe with premieres of “THE COLLECTIVE” in nearly every mountain town and major city imaginable.
