With $15,000 on the line, the wind and weather didn’t stop competitors in Trysil, Norway for this year’s Sweet Rumble big air. After the dust had settled, America’s superhero Bobby Brown emerged victorious over Germany’s Bene Mayr in the final round of head-to-head jumping.

After the first round trimmed the field down from 16 to a manageable eight, the knockout rounds began in a one-jump format, similar to Stockholm’s King of Style.

First Round:
—JF Houle defeats PC Fosse with a double cork 1260 blunt to shifty.
—Bobby Brown defeats Elias Ambühl with a double cork 1260 mute poke.
—Bene Mayr defeats Markus Eder with a double cork 1080 safety.
—Klaus Finne defeats Andreas Håtveit with a double cork 1260 mute.

Second Round:
—Bobby Brown bests JF Houle with a switch double rodeo 900 japan.
—Bene Mayr bests Klaus Finne with a double cork 1080 safety.

Once the finals were set with Bobby vs Bene, the format changed to a 3 run format, where three different jumps were to be thrown. Details are sketchy, but Bene Mayr failed to land a double cork 1260 and couldn’t cleanly stomp his double cork 1080s. In the end, Bobby’s double cork 1260s sealed the deal. JF Houle defeated Klaus Finne with another double cork 1260 blunt for 3rd place.
