$975.00

Ski Lengths: 156, 162, 170, 178 cm
Turn Radius: 16 m @ 162 cm
Ski Dimensions: 117.5 - 103 - 128.5 mm

We all need a hero resort ski in our quiver, and ladies who have a deep appreciation for the turn should consider promoting the new Atomic Maven 103 CTI to legendary status. New for 2024-25, this is the plank of choice for professional skier Amie Engerbretson, and for good reason. The new Maven 103 CTI is highly versatile, with noticeably more tip and tail rocker for easier turn initiation and quicker release in both soft and firm snow. At 103-mm underfoot, it makes a great East Coast powder plank and is a more manageable, everyday width for Rocky Mountain resorts.
With a directional design, the tail of the new Maven 103 CTI is strategically stiff to instill confidence at high speeds in firmer conditions, while the tip utilizes Atomic’s updated HRZN 3D technology, extending the three-dimensional shovel shape further back, to provide float in soft snow. The ski’s damp and stiff feel can be attributed to the sheet of Titanal and carbon stringers underfoot, layered with a poplar and ash wood core. What you end up with is a stiff ski that has a consistent flex to effortlessly and smoothly plow through chunder without any chatter. Atomic put the recommended mount point closer to the true center of the ski, effectively dialing back the intensity needed to turn, a much-appreciated energy saver for longer days on the hill.
For one of our veteran ski testers, the Maven 103 CTI checked just about all of the boxes. “It could easily be your daily driver if you’re more interested in skiing off-piste than carving on groomers,” she wrote in her review. “If you want to turn up the speed and rowdiness, these skis hit their sweet spot!”
